Working with the community can take many forms depending on the size and type of project as well as it’s relevance to the local residents.  We therefore bespoke our programme of community engagement to suit each individual project.  This can include:

  • Consultation and open meetings
  • Newsletters
  • Webcams
  • Schools visits
  • Local employment opportunities
  • Work with local charities
  • Employing resident liaison officers

Working with local schools
Our project teams work with local schools wherever possible.  Some examples are:

  • H&S competition to educate pupils in saftey near construction sites more
  • Integrating the construction work into the curriculum through model making more
  • Weekly classroom updates on construction progress more
  • Renovating an aging IT room into a state of the art library more
  • Burying a time capsule more
