Body Positive Fundraising - 2010
Our Framework team in Manchester helped to organise a fundraising dinner for the charity Body Positive NW, an amazing £30,000 was raised on the night through various activities including an auction and raffle.
Children in Need - 2010
Staff across the company took part in various tasks including cake and pie sales, dress down day and guess how many pebbles are in the jar with over £400 raised for Children in Need.
Inca Trail Fundraising - 2009
One of our business development team took part in a fundraising walk in the Andes on a five day trek to reach the ancient lost city of Machu Picchu to raise money for St Giles Hospice, the team raised over £45,000.
1,000 Mile Charity Bike Ride – 2008
We undertook a 1,000 mile bike ride to raise money for six selected hospices around the country. The bike ride took 6 weeks and travelled between every site and office undertaken by over 100 members of staff. We raised just over £17,000.
Wheels for all fundraising event – 2008
Our Manchester staff organised a fundraising dinner and auction to raise money for the charity Wheels for All, who are a mainly voluntary organisation helping physically and mentally disabled people of all ages ride specially adapted bikes around a running track. £12,000 was raised.
Sandcastle Challenge 2002 – 2009
For a number of years GB building Solutions has been a key sponsor of The Royal Institute of British Architects/Children North East Sandcastle Challenge, which raises money for children's charity “Children North East”.
